Black Panther
The Black Panther movie is set to be released in theaters on February 16 and is already being hailed as one of the most anticipated movies of all time. The film is based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name and tells the story of king T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), who after his father’s death must take over as ruler of Wakanda. Along with defending his kingdom from external threats, T’Challa also must contend with a conspiracy within his own government that seeks to bring him down.
The cast list for Black Panther is already impressive, featuring such stars as Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. The film has received widespread critical acclaim thus far and looks set to be another huge success for Marvel Studios.
Avengers: Infinity War
The Avengers: Infinity War is set to be one of the biggest movies of all time and it’s not hard to see why. The movie will feature a cast of some of the most well-known actors and actresses in the world and it looks like it will be an action-packed ride from start to finish.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to be released on April 27th, 2018 and people are already counting down the days until they can see it. The movie has been heavily marketed and there is no doubt that fans everywhere are excited about what’s coming their way.
The Avengers: Infinity War storyline is complex and has been in development for many years. It follows the events after Thanos (Josh Brolin) attempts to collect all six infinity stones which give him ultimate power. The heroes must unite together to stop him from achieving his goal, which means that there will be a lot of action and adventure on display when Avengers: Infinity War finally arrives.
Some of the stars who have signed up for Avengers: Infinity War include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the anticipated sequel to Jurassic World and will be released on June 22, 2018. The movie follows the return of Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and his team of dinosaurs as they attempt to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from an island that has been taken over by humans. The movie is expected to be another blockbuster hit and will no doubt continue the legacy of the Jurassic Park series.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the seventh installment in the original Star Wars movie saga. Director Rian Johnson took over from Lucasfilm veteran J.J. Abrams and has gone back to the original script written by Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt. With Oscar Isaacs (Best Supporting Actor, Moonlight) taking on the role of Rey, Mark Hamill ( Luke Skywalker ) reprising his role as Darth Vader, and Carrie Fisher ( Princess Leia Organa ) appearing as General Leia Organa, this promises to be one of the most eagerly awaited movies of all time.
The story picks up with Rey having been found by Finn on a remote island after being stranded there for years by her parent’s death. Kylo Ren, Supreme Leader Snoke’s nephew and son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, has been searching for Luke Skywalker since before The Force Awakens. When Rey joins forces with Kylo Ren and Chewbacca in order to find Luke, they are confronted by Resistance fighters led by Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), who helps them escape to find Luke Skywalker first before facing off against the evil Kylo Ren in an epic battle that will determine the fate of the galaxy.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set for release on December 15th in North America and December 17th in Europe
Ant-Man and the Wasp
In light of the recently announced Avengers: Endgame, it’s no surprise that Ant-Man and the Wasp is one of the most anticipated films of 2019. Not only does it continue the story of Ant-Man and The Wasp, but it’s also introducing new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As such, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what director Peyton Reed has in store for them.
So far, reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and many are calling Ant-Man and The Wasp one of the best Marvel films yet. This is partly thanks to the great chemistry between Rudd and Evangeline Lilly as Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp. Fans also seem to love Michael Douglas’ return as Hank Pym, with many comparing his performance to that of Tony Stark in Iron Man.
All in all, Ant-Man and The Wasp looks like it will be another winner for Marvel Studios and we can’t wait to see what happens next!
Incredibles 2
The sequel to the 2004 film “The Incredibles” is set to hit theaters on June 15, 2018. The movie follows the Parr family as they deal with new challenges in their life while still trying to uphold the superpowers and secret identity of Mr. Incredible.
The cast includes Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, and Samuel L. Jackson. Actress Catherine Keener is also joining the cast as Mrs. Incredible. Director Brad Bird has promised that the sequel will be even better than the first and fans are eagerly awaiting it.
Ready Player One
Ready Player One is Spielberg’s love letter to the 1980s when he was obsessed with the pop culture of that era. The film tells the story of 18-year-old Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan), who spends his days holed up in a dusty CRT monitor leeching off the energy of people who attend a virtual reality tournament called The OASIS. When creator James Halliday (Mark Rylance) dies, he leaves behind an Easter egg hidden inside the game that invites anyone who finds it to win his fortune. Wade becomes obsessed with finding the egg, and soon finds himself competing against other players from all over the world.
The movie features an all-star cast including Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg, and Mark Rylance. Ready Player One is set to be released in March 2018.
Death Wish
The Death Wish remake is coming out this year and it has a lot of people excited. The original Death Wish was released in 1974 and it starred Charles Bronson as Paul Kersey, a man who decides to take the law into his own hands after his wife is killed. Since then, the movie has become a cult classic and has been remade multiple times, most recently in 2014 with Michael Keaton starring.
So what can we expect from the new Death Wish? For one, it looks like the violence will be much more graphic than in the 2014 version. This isn’t surprising, since Eli Roth directed the remake and he’s known for his gory films. In addition, Bruce Willis is expected to reprise his role as Kersey and there are rumors that Milla Jovovich may also be appearing in some capacity.
If you’re a fan of old-school crime thrillers, then you definitely need to check out the Death Wish remake when it comes out this year.
Jurassic World: Operation Genesis
In 2015, Jurassic World became one of the highest-grossing films of all time. The movie follows a team of scientists and soldiers who are tasked with saving the dinosaurs from extinction by bringing them back to life in what is known as “Operation Genesis.” This new installment of the Jurassic Park franchise reunites many of the cast and crew that made the original film so successful.
Jurassic World: Operation Genesis is set 10 years after the events of the first movie and finds Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) leading a team of specialists on Isla Nublar in an effort to save the dinosaurs from being auctioned off to wealthy tourists. The island’s previous owner, InGen CEO Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), has returned to try and stop them.
The cast includes returning stars Pratt, Howard, Goldblum, Toby Jones, BD Wong, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, and Andy Serkis. New actors joining the cast include Chinese actress Fan Bingbing as Yunzi Lao, BD Wong’s son Matthew as Benjamin Lockwood III., War for The Planet Of The Apes actor Daniel Wu as Dr. Henry Wu, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’s Karen Gillan as Agent 13 and Game Of Thrones’ Iain Glen playing Ian Malcolm’s nephew Zaraadt.
